Ruhango District has got many projects in infrastructure, land, water, settlements and environment including the following: - Rehabilitation of Kiregeli-Buhanda-Mwogo, and Kinazi-Ruhango roads.
- Rehabilitation of a 12m long bridge at mururumanza and another 10m long bridge at Vunga.
- Construction of Taxi and Bus Parks at Ruhango and Buhanda.
- Construction of modern markets at Ruhango and Mutara
- Electrification of Kinihira-Mwendo trading centers
- Installation of three meteorological stations at Byimana, Kabagari and Kinazi
- Planting of trees along the tarmac road in the sectors of Ruhango and Byimana.
- A modern brick and tile making complex at Ruhango and Byimana
The district has also got projects in economic development and employment promotion including the following: - Construction of a modern abattoir at Ruhango
- Establishment of a cassava transformation and conservation unit
- Promotion of coffee project in Kinazi, Ntongwe, Mbuye, Btimana, Ruhango,Kabagali,Mwendo, Kinihira.
There is also a project to make radical terraces and anti-erosion pits in all sectors covering an area of 100ha every year. - Construction of an art and crafts exhibition hall at Ruhango District headquators
- There are also projects in health, family promotion and protection of children that include the following:
- Construction of a hospital at Kinazi worth 800,000,000Frw
- Construction of a health in Ruhango town, Kabagali Nzuki, Mwendo, Rubona and in Ntongwe all worth 1,000,000,000Frw.
