In good governance a lot has been achieved, for instanced there introduction of community policing in each village or agglomeration, Local Defense was trained and was provided with uniforms.

Out of 277 cases that were received by the district officials, 229 were settled giving out an 93.5% achievement. The population of Ruhango District participated greatly in the just concluded parliamentary elections with 98.5% turn up.

In the security sector, the district arranged four security meetings in every cell, and one security meeting in every school. There was establishment of anti-genocide clubs in every sector and every school and community policing was introduced in all villages.
